Toddler Time

It was impossible to capture all of the special moments of Charlie’s brief childhood in the book, but with so many adorable videos in my library, I’ve added a few pages that are simply here for your enjoyment. When we catch up in his timeline to the book, I will start showing the pages again.

Some days Indie would walk into the house, she did grow up here, and every once in a while she made it her business to come in and do an inspection. She would wander around to every window and have a look out and then exit from a different door than the one she came in through. I was delighted when she brought Charlie in with her.

At this age the zoomies start. Charlie is super fast and so very springy.

He just keeps going and going!

Mumma Indie knows that with all that energy and excitement, she can start carrying Charlie a little bit less. Keep up little man!

But don’t go thinking that because she has him running along beside here he isn’t still getting quality pouch time. As comfy as he looks in moments like this one, sometimes I think the only way for Indie to get a little rest time is to have him tucked in with no exit unless she gives it.

Sometimes it’s just the sweet quirky moments that are worth sharing.

I picked up a little tri-pod so that I could set it up on the patio, attach my i-phone and hit the record button while I sat back and watched. Never knowing what might happen in any given day. Who could have known that this would be the day that Charlie discovered water!

It’s funny, talk to any carer working with orphaned joeys, we always laugh at how often we find them working themselves around in their pouch so that their head is hanging upside down. Here’s proof that it’s no different when they are still with their mother:
